About the Magazine

Public Health is published by the Rollins School of Public Health, a component of the Woodruff Health Sciences Center of Emory University.

On the cover: Brian Chu 09MPH was amazed by the women he met in Ghana in summer 2008. His photo depicts the son of a Ghanian woman with Health Keepers, a group that purchases and resells health protection products such as mosquito nets and water treatment tablets. Chu's photo was among the 2009 winners in the Emory Global Health Institute's Student Photography Contest.
