As associate director of media relations and manager of broadcast relations, Baker is responsible for promoting Emory
Healthcare clinical medicine as well as medical discovery and advances of the Woodruff
Health Sciences Center. Having served as a public information office in the department for since 1990, she currently serves as lead for broadcast media relations activities both nationally and locally.
Baker has served as an officer in the Atlanta chapter of the American Medical Writers Association, and currently is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. She has been a member of several Emory organizations including the Emory Employee Council, the University Relations Professional Development Committee, and the University Relations Video Task Force. Baker has served as board member of the Fuqua Center for Late-Life Depression, and she currently serves as a consulting board member. In addition, she is a member of the University Relations Employee Recognition Committee.
Baker is a graduate of Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pa.
