Holly W. Korschun is Director of Research Communications for Emory University's Woodruff
Health Sciences Center. In this position she is responsible for directing media relations and internal and external communications for research programs within Health Sciences Communications.
Korschun has led research communications since 2001. She has held positions in health sciences communications at Emory since 1997, previously serving as science writer, associate director of media relations, and twice as interim director of media relations.
During a 25-year career in communications at Emory, Korschun has served as associate director of publications, writer/editor for the Winship
Cancer Institute and the Department
of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and writer/editor for the schools of medicine, public health, and nursing.
Prior to her work at Emory, Korschun was editor of publications at Tufts University. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Journalism. She is a member of the National Association of Science Writers, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and is a 2004 fellow of the Woodruff Leadership Academy in Emory's Woodruff Health Sciences Center.
