Carol Pinto is responsible for managing finances and distribution of all publications and collateral produced through Health Sciences Publications as well as the Health Sciences photo database. She has been at Emory since 2001, and in 2005 her work was recognized with a Spirit of Emory Award. Prior to Emory, she lived abroad and worked for the Ministry of Health in Wellington, New Zealand, and as English editor and translator in the United Nations Development Programme in Brasilia, Brazil.
Pinto began her career as a public information specialist at the Georgia Department of Human Resources in Atlanta. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Journalism.
