Mullins serves as the Associate Director for Conferences and Communications, and has worked for Emory Winship Cancer Institute in since 2001. In her role at Emory Winship Cancer Institute, Mullins manages and coordinates special events, including educational meetings for patients, and internal communications events and CME courses for Winship faculty, fellows, and staff. Additionally, Mullins serves as a contributing writer and managing editor for the Winship website. Mullins also oversees the production of The Winship Report, the Institute's community magazine.

Prior to working at Emory Winship, Mullins worked at GCI Group, a public relations agency, where she concentrated on pharmaceutical accounts. Before coming to Atlanta, Mullins was in the public relations office of Northeast Georgia Medical Center and Health System in Gainesville, Ga. Mullins graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Public Relations.
