FREE OSTEOPOROSIS SCREENINGS ARE PART OF EMORY STUDY

Women may receive free osteoporosis screenings as part of an Emory University School of Medicine study involving investigational ultrasound technology.

To meet study criteria, women must be Caucasian and from 20-29 and 60-79 years of age. They should not have bone fractures associated with osteoporosis, premature menopause or cancer (except of the skin) or be taking hormone replacement therapy.

Participation involves one 30-minute session at The Emory Clinic, Building A, 1365 Clifton Rd., N.E., Atlanta. Sandy Huff, R.N., and Sheila O'Neal, R.N., are the study coordinators. For information, call 404/ 778-7777.
