EMORY RESEARCHERS SEEK VOLUNTEERS FOR STUDY OF TYPE I (JUVENILE ONSET) DIABETES

Persons who have Type I (juvenile-onset) diabetes and take insulin, may qualify for a one-year (nine-visit) study being conducted by endocrinology researchers at the Emory University School of Medicine.



The new drug under investigation may lower blood sugar and the amount of insulin required by patients.



Physical examination, laboratory testing, eye examination, glucose meter and strips will be provided at no cost to qualified participants.
