1965

Elizabeth Nielsen, MPH, is a field worker at the tuberculosis clinic at Grady Memorial Hospital.


1982

C. Edward Turner, MPH, works for the State of Georgia's Department of Public Health as the community epidemiologist supervisor at the Fulton County Health Department's Tuberculosis Clinic.


1984

Erica Frank, MD, MPH, an assistant professor in the department of family and preventive medicine at Emory, has won the Rising Star Award, presented by the American College of Preventive Medicine for the country's best young specialist in preventive medicine.

Brad P. Glick, DO, MPH, is an attending dermatologist at the Greater Miami Skin/Laser Center. He writes from Parkland, Florida: "While 'quiet' during my last ten years of medical training, I have proudly watched my alma mater grow!!!"


1985

Don A. Franco, MPH, is the director of scientific services at National Renderers Association.


1986

Theresa Ann Sipe, MPH, MN, graduated in December 1995, from Georgia State University with a PhD in Education. Her specialization is Research Measurement and Statistics.


1988

James P. Gorman, MPH, is the proud father of a baby boy, Thomas James Gorman, born on April 8, 1996. Gorman is the senior manager of Ernst & Young, a health care consulting group in Chicago.

Rebekah Haskin Wasserman, MPH, and her husband, Mark, 86 L, have a new baby, Aaron Estes Wasserman, born on October 25, 1995.

Curtis C. Williams III, DDS, MPH, and his wife, Susanne, have a new daughter, Heather Nicole, born on January 6, 1996, at Northside Hospital in Atlanta.


1991

Stacey Levitt Hill, MPH, married James Warren Hill on October 8, 1995, in Roswell, Georgia.

Lisa Hoelscher, MPH, joined the Women's Health Initiative, a research program at the Medical College of Wisconsin, as a program nutritionist in the summer of 1995.


1992

Wedding bells rang for Dana Tollett Frick, MPH, MBA, on March 28, 1996, when she married Steven Frick on Amelia Island. Dana Frick is a senior financial analyst with United Healthcare of Georgia.

Pamela Lipis, MPH, married George Glinsky on March 19, 1995.

Michael Patrick Lischke, 90 C, MPH, and Aimee Joy Soricelli, 92 C, married on June 25, 1994. Michael is special assistant to the dean for Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University. He is a doctoral candidate with the sta tus of All But Dissertation at Temple University, where he is studying for an Ed.D. Aimee, who recently graduated from Jefferson Medical College, will begin a family medicine residency at Bowman Gray School of Medicine.

John W. Robitscher, MPH, is president-elect of the Georgia Rural Health Association as well as Secretary of the State Office of the Rural Health Advisory Council. He works at the University of Georgia in community health development.

Edwin Trevathan, MD, MPH, is director of the UK Comprehensive Epilepsy Center.


1993

Cathy Tolan Curlette, MPH, 94 MN, is a nutrition consultant at George West Mental Health Foundation.

Laurel Pickering, MPH, has recently been named managing director of the New York Business Group on Health.

Christiane Andreozzi Shau, MPH, is School Health Educator at the Atlanta Alliance on Developmental Disabilities.


1994

Amy K. Brown, MPH, RN, is the clinical director for Georgia 1st, Inc., an Emory affiliate provider network. A member of APHA, she also volunteers for the American Cancer Society.

Elizabeth Clark, MPH, married Dean Athanassiades in May of 1995. She is director of direct marketing at the American Cancer Society's National Home Office.

For the fourth consecutive year, Matthew Girvin, MPH, is serving as a consultant for the health and nutrition section of UNICEF in China and Mongolia. He is focusing on UNICEF's contribution to China's National Iodine Deficiency Disord ers Elimination Programme.

John Patrick Hoffman, MPH, is the Study Director of the National Opinion Research Center's Washington office for the University of Chicago.

Andrea Wenger, MPH, is an epidemiologist on loan to the Virginia Beach Health Department from the Eastern Virginia Medical School.


1995

Michael Patrick Riordan, MPH, married Bridget Guernsey on October 14, 1995, in Atlanta.
