HealthConnection
Last year, Emory HealthConnection answered more than 115,000 calls. A gem of service that links patients to Emory doctors and physicians to physicians, HealthConnection also gathers valuable information that helps Emory be more responsive to our patients and the community.

How to remake a hospital
What does it take to build a hospital, Emory-style? Just ask the folks at Crawford Long.

Sprawl
As Emory clinicians deal with the daily fallout from the American love affair with cars, researchers here are confronting the links between sprawl, illness, and death. And they're leading the way in efforts to deal with sprawl's unhealthy consequences.

Moving Forward
News highlights: closings of outlying centers, mice stem cells and human hearts, practicing what we preach, mood and magnets, new contracts, the Brothers Health Issues Conference on HIV/AIDS, a "monster" of a gift, and a new children's cancer center.

On point: Healer or line worker?
As part of Emory's Year of Reconciliation, Emory physicians, nurses, and other caregivers openly expressed their frustrations, aspirations, and concerns during two intense, sometimes emotional hours last spring.
